Royal Marines Association: Costa Blanca Branch (Spain)

Hola! Buenos Dias

Don Churchill, Chairman & Eddie Cowan, PresidentI assumed the duties of Branch Chairman in February at our AGM. My thanks to Phil Prince for his tireless work as our Chairman (not forgetting Joan for her support in his duties).

See our handover photo here

There have been no unusual events for the Branch to be involved in over the last twelve months, a quiet period really!

The Branch Membership is steady. Like most Branches we would like a few more members and we are certain there are more out there. We would like to hear from any new ROYALS wanting the old Banter again! Contact Us here

We have two events this year:

  • Dave Lawton recently organised a fund raiser for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. "Care for Casualties" - a Grand Auction, BBQ and raffle raised 1,560.25 euros.
  • The second event will be the Corps Birthday. No volunteers to run it as yet, but watch this space.

If you are living in (or just visiting) Spain, please come and see us and we will give a warm, Spanish, Bootneck-style welcome.

Tup Three . . and Best Wishes,

Ed Cowan, Chairman
Royal Marines Association, Costa Blanca Branch (Spain)
