2009 November 10:

1. Jim Rowan remains much the same; Penny thanks those individuals who have taken the time to ring and ask after Jim, in particular the Members of the 42CDO Association, of which Jim was an active member.

2. Our President Don Churchill had a nasty fall at home on the 07-11-09 and looks as though he has been fighting in the Gut in Malta. Jo is administering kindness and San Miguel in limited doses and we hope to see Don at the next meeting.

2009 October 18:

Jim Rowan - the owner of Corkys Bar in Torreveija - continues to receive aftercare for the stroke he had last year. Jims prognosis is not good but some improvement has been seen by members since the earlier part of the year. He remains in a wheelchair and receives excellent care from wife Penny and his children. The family will remain in Spain and the Branch will help as required by the family.
